Everything about this pair of shoes peaked my interest.  Love the shape, skin and well, the heels.  My goodness, what a smashing heel.  Screams sophistication.

Cute as a button.  Loved the colours, ribbons and of course, the total cuteness of this young girl at Dia de Guadalupe in Oaxaca City.  She screamed out to be painted.

I personally gave this little girl the prize for being the cutest at Dia de Guadalupe in Oaxaca City.  Her long dark hair with those streaming multicoloured ribbons and that gorgeous dress just stood out from the crowd.  I don’t know why it took me so long to paint her.

Preciosa

When fall arrives the pumpkin patch thrives.  A local farm grows 39 varieties of pumpkins.  I had no idea there were so much different colours and shapes.  These guys are rare, black Japanese Futsu Pumpkins.  I liked their size, colour and shape.

There are many varieties of dahlias and they are all colourful and delicate looking.  Summer in the Comox Valley means bouquets of dahlias all over the house.  What a treat.

This young fellow caught a fish almost as big as he is.  I don’t know what kind of fish it is but he sure was excited.

Catching the last few rays of the sun on your way out to support a friend.  Tonight we will celebrate.
